As can be expected, John ‘F’in Kerry (who I’ve heard served in Viet Nam) is still trying to appear presidential and act as if the world revolves around his treasonous ass.
It took but a few short hours for the Senator to issue a welcome statement to former RINO, Arlen Specter as he returned home to the Democrat Party, where he has belonged for some time now.
Kerry’s statement said,
“This is a big moment. When Jim Jeffords left the Republican Party, he was the canary in the coal mine warning of Bush era ideological excess, and Senator Specter’s decision eight years later signals its tipping point. This is now officially a Republican Party where moderates need not apply, and a Democratic Party under President Obama that welcomes all perspectives and is determined to find consensus to move America forward.”
Kerry would have us believe that the Democrat Party is “centrist,” and “All encompassing,” welcoming “all perspectives.”
To see what a liar Kerry is we only look back to the 2006 elections when Connecticut Democrat Senator, Joe Lieberman came under the scorn of the Democrat Party and lost the primary for his seat to challenger Ned Lamont. Lieberman mounted a campaign as an Independent and in spite of his long liberal record, was mercilessly attacked by fellow Democrats, including John ‘F’in Kerry, who claimed above that the party “welcomes all perspectives.”
It was August 2006 when Kerry, appearing with George Stephanopoulos, said of Lieberman, “Joe Lieberman is out of step with the people of Connecticut,” adding that Lieberman's stance on Iraq, “shows you just why he got in trouble with the Democrats there.”
He went on to say, “Lieberman's independent bid is a huge mistake,” and applauded Ned Lamont as "courageous" for challenging Lieberman on the war.
Kerry even accused Lieberman of “adopting the rhetoric of Dick Cheney.”
Bear in mind, this is the same Kerry who now claims a “Democratic Party under President Obama that welcomes all perspectives and is determined to find consensus to move America forward.”
Apparently, that is only when one agrees with the leftist dictatorial Democrat Party.
An earlier attack on Lieberman saying the Democrats stance on the Iraq War “would strengthen terrorists,” was met with Kerry’s cry of, “That's bunk. That's scare-tactic bunk..... I'm not going to stand for those scare tactics,”
Lamont lost the election to Lieberman, thanks in large part to Republican support. He then swiftly closed ranks again with those liberal Democrats who just weeks earlier were bashing him and calling for the party to take punitive steps against him.
Is that how the Democrats welcome “all perspectives?”
As for Arlen Specter rejoining the leftists, of what use is it to retain someone in the party when they spend their time siding with the opposition? What guarantee is there that one like Specter would stand with the GOP in a filibuster when he opposes many of our values?
The sooner we can purge these liberals out of the GOP, the sooner they screw up America and the sooner we can get back in office to correct it again, provided those that remain grow some spine!
Good riddance to Arlen Specter and to Kerry I say, thanks for yet another example of your lies and deceit.
Thanks owed to the Swift Boat Veterans and POWs for Truth for their part in stopping this opportunist from being in the White House these past 4 years.

Everybody knows he did it because he was down 21% in the polls leading-up to the GOP primary for his seat- and Joey Pluggs made a deal with him- he already admitted as-such. The sad truth is that this hack has spent three decades in the Senate, while accomplishing little.
And Barack and him have a lot in common- as unprincipled political opportunists. I'm sure they'll get along just great.
Actually, I would vote for PHIL Spector over Arlen- seems like a more stable and trustworthy individual, lol.
Just a little over a month ago, the Senator said in an interview that he wouldn't switch parties due to the importance of checks and balances.
And back in 2001, Sen. Arlen Specter, then a Republican, proposed a rule forbidding party switches... her was upset when Vt Sen. Jim Jeffords’ left the GOP to become an independent.
Who knows what the truth is with this guy, you'll never get it from him.
With all due respect, Senator- don't let the door hit your butt on the way out. Nobody on our side's going to miss you.

I had the same thought, as well - and I ain't even a Republican! Like my friend's mom used to say all the time, don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya.
Gee, Lew, is snarky busy showing "tolerance" again? Stupid waste of skin can't get a clue, huh? You should see the piece of work left on my own site - proves just how "open to all perspectives" and all that other happy horse shit the leftards are....
Angie, Snarkie could come in and make a glowing compliment to me, and be deleted.
His comments are not welcome hereany longer and eany he puts up will be deleted.
He is just a vile bigoted Bostonian idiot not worth my time, much like John 'F'in Kery, and as cowardly too.
