I noticed the link did not work so I'll try again. It's the Time magazine story on the report on the Fort Hood shootings. It's a grand whitewash.

You have to use http for links to work on blogger, canuck.

But you are right about the whitewash. They can try to hide it behind political correctness all they want, the people know better.

It also disturbs me they are scapegoating 5 to 8 officers who they say should have reported his conduct. Had they, you an bet they would have been reprimanded ndsent off for sensitivity training for violating his civil rights and religious freedom.

Those who pushed political correctness off on the Military are who should be tried in this case, along with the terrorist.

Here is your link for you, The Fort Hood Report: Why No Mention of Islam?

So how did you do that? I posted the link elsewhere and it worked like yours did but when I tried the same thing on your blog, it did not work as such. Mine has the 'http', I guess I am missing something here.

[ a HREF="place url here">Place text you wish here</a]

replace the brackets [ & ] with a left pointing arrow and the right pointing arrow on the end

I guess I should have said you need to use HTML, not http.

Sorry, just a senior moment.

I'm pretty much a neophyte (or is it "troglodyte"?) when it comes to that html stuff too, but let me give it a try...

I guess either word would suffice. I just say I'm technologically challenged. Hell, I still recall learning the basics of a slide-rule.

You can find some basic instruction at HTML Sandbox 2008, but not all works here in comments. It is for FreeRepublic, but urls, italics, bold and such will work here.
