I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised to see such an advertisement as below, what with the push to ban on plastic grocery bags, originating in Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco and now spreading across the land.

No mention of just what material it is constructed from or where it is made, just lay down $65, which is a steal since otherwise without the listed sales code, you would pay $81.25.
No more cheap plastic bags cluttering your recycling bin. Store clerks and shoppers will envy you, seeing you carry your very own Limited Edition, San Fran Nan, Diane von Furstenberg designed tote.
Not recommended for picking up pet waste.

I love and use plastic bags because have you seen the price of plastic garbage bags lately? I also use them for picking up dog poop ... now, what is pc to collect the ca-ca? Please let me know, so I can be "in".

Here locally, across the river in Portland, plastic grocery bags have been in the news as they push for this ban.
Funny part is, the local newspaper is exempted from the ban as are bags supplied by the city.
It is suggested to use the plastic bags the newspaper comes in to pick up your doggie doo.
Make sense? No, but when has anything a liberal advocates ever make any sense?
