I Got Tagged by Hot Rodham Blog to answer questions delving into my not too secret secrets, LOL
Following Blog Protocol, I must comply. Maybe a welcome change from exposing more and more Democrat silliness I was tagged Here
Rules of being Tagged
Tagging is a child’s game that we grown-ups now play on the internet to occupy our time and divert ourselves from the hum drum existence we often have. In the Blogosphere it means that if you’ve been picked, you have to pick five to ten others, hopefully to irritate them as well. Here are some questions and answers. The questions in brackets can be changed when you “tag” some other blogger. Read the next section for the list of tagged Bloggers. If you’re tagged, answer the questions on your Blog, while moaning and groaning that you were tagged and feel you have much more important things to do. Above all, have fun!
1) Name your favorite band and singer. (The singer can’t be from the band)
Favorite band = Little River Band (among several others)
Favorite singer = Karen Carpenter, what a loss when she died.
2) Favorite historical politician (domestic)? (Historical = Dead)
Ronald Reagan
3) Favorite historical politician (International)?
Winston Churchill
4) You’re giving a Hollywood pitch (25 words or less) about your Blog — GO
Guaranteed no leftwing ramblings.
5) Other then where you live now, what city do you like?
Sydney Australia
6) Favorite modern politician? (In office now)
Duncan Hunter
7) Are you a Wilsonian Idealist or Nixonian Realist in foreign policy?
Neither
8) Favorite obscure movie?
The Best Years of Our Lives (1946)
9) What is your favorite restaurant?
Azteca
10) Choose a music video on YouTube. Why that one?
The Carpenters, Rainy Days and Mondays. Why? How can you not appreciate this?

Too much fun? Thank you, I try! I think it is just that the idle mind is the devil's playground, and sometimes I am an amusement park. However, my most recent post is deadly serious...well, kinda.

Lew,
I don't know 5 bloggers! (Blogging is my escape from raising little ones - let's me think in full sentences) What do I do?
Keepitreal, do as I did, just pick someone in your blogroll, or ignore it.
Raising little ones comes first though. As much as I love and miss mine being little, I'm also glad they are grown. Much better being grandpa and spoiling hers, LOL.
Just remember, "grandchildren are God's rewrd for not murdering your own children when they are little."
Lew,
In Tag, you only tag one person.
This is what we used to call "Chain Mail".
This sort of survey is a really big thing on myspace (although the subject matter is quite different). When the kids send them out (to everyone on their friend list).
Sometimes they go so far as to say "If you don't forward this to 5 people your account will be deleted" (or worse fates than that are sometimes used).
When we were kids we had to use real stamps and real paper, so it was much more effort, and as a result the chains were more often just stopped.
But In a way I love chain mail. It uses up the very resources the company I work for sells; and may even helps to increase the need for people in my profession. So while I tend to "Stop the Chain" by never forwarding, I love it when other people take the effort to forward it.
I love that Carpenter's Song. Really Great Song, makes me want to dig out my Carpenter albums.
