Is Free Political Expression Dead?

Only if you may be a conservative, it appears.

As we all know, an effigy of Barack Obama was found hanging from a tree at George Fox University recently.

Effigies in Political Expression have been used since America was founded. Our Founders wrapped an effigy of King George in a Union Jack and burned it in the late 1700’s. Effigies of President Bush have been hung, paraded across country and even burned, not only in America, but also around the world.

An effigy of an American soldier was set on fire in Portland during an anti-war protest in March 2007 as well as an American Flag was set on fire as a protester defecated on it. This was written off as “rudeness” by the media.

While effigies can be offensive, it seems no one really cared until this one appeared of B HO. Automatically, it is labeled “racist” because Obamessiah is half African and officials from George Fox University immediately issued an apology to the B HO campaign.

No one has ever issued an apology to President Bush for all the denigration and effigies of him. That I recall no one has ever apologized for such an expression of Free Political Speech before, not even for burning the soldier in effigy in the Portland protest, even though protesters accompanied the effigy with the vile chant, “Build a bonfire, Build a bonfire, Put the soldiers on the top. Put the fascists in the middle, and, we'll burn the f**king lot.”

University officials called in the Newberg Police in “investigate” the effigy and it was reported to the Secret Service. The FBI has been called in too. Newberg Police Sgt. Tim Weaver admitted it wasn’t clear that any crime was committed early on.

Lt. Jeff Kosmicki of the Newberg Police said no state law was broken.

Brad Berry, Yamhill County district attorney said, “This behavior is reprehensible, but not all offensive behavior is criminal.” He also said the effigy seemed not to pose a direct threat and may fall within protected free speech rights.

Secret Service agent Ron Wampole said, “We are continuing to investigate but I don’t think it’s going to go any further. There certainly wasn’t any crime committed, I don’t believe.”

FBI spokesperson Beth Anne Steeled said the FBI is “looking into possible civil rights violations.”

Four students have confessed to hanging the effigy and are under “long-term suspension” and must perform “community service” as their penance, according to University officials. Yet, all say no crime was committed.

The leap is made that because of “America’s racist history,” when Blacks were lynched, as well as some whites, this effigy equates to those lynchings’ because B HO is half-African. Race is once again injected to stifle opposition to B HO.

The effigy contained a note labeling B HO as an “Act 6 reject.” Act 6 is a scholarship to benefit minorities and lower income students. Hence, the further leap of it was directed at the minority students studying at George Fox.

I see the outrage as manufactured, manipulating and another effort at stifling free expression, when directed against a liberal. There has never been this sort of outcry and investigations initiated if the effigy was President Bush, President Reagan or any other Republican.

In fact, according to University officials, “few people saw the effigy or were aware of it,” and the custodian that discovered it early in the morning took it down. Yet, massive attention has now been focused on it as authorities were notified and of course, Obama supporters spread it across the Internet.

They have turned a minor act of Political Expression in opposition to the Obamessiah into a racist act, as Democrats have been doing since they threw Hillary under the bus and chose B HO.

Will similar outrage be shown when the next effigy of Bush, McCain, Sarah Palin or any Republican be discovered?

Don’t bank on it. After all, they have “Free Political Expression.”

Apparently, Republicans do not.

Change America Can Really Do Without!

Democrats are noted for some real catchy slogans during campaigns. In 1960, John Kennedy ran under “A time for greatness.” By 1964, his successor, Lyndon Johnson used “All the way with LBJ.” In 1976 Jimmy Carter used, “A Leader, For a Change.” What a canard that one proved to be.

In 1984 we heard “America Needs a Change” from the failed candidacy of Walter Mondale. By 1992 Bill Clinton won with “Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow” followed by another win with “Building a bridge to the 21st century” in 1996.

Nancy Pelosi ran under “A New Direction for America” in 2006 and as we all know, former community agitator turned first term Senator, Barack Hussein Obama is running with another variant of the Democrats constant drone for “change” with “Change We Can Believe In.”

If B HO’s “change” is anything like the “New Direction” we were promised when Democrats swept both Houses of Congress in 2006, we really don’t need any more of that. As we all know, since Democrats took control of the House and Senate, America has made a sharp turn for the worse almost everywhere except the Iraq Theater of the War on Terror. Even that has been threatened with failure time and time again by political maneuvering of Democrats as the give us “change.”

Since Democrats took us in this “New Direction,” we have seen consumer confidence plummet, gasoline prices rise dramatically, unemployment begin rising and the stock market begin a downward spiral that has us on the brink of financial ruin. We have also seen the approval rating of Congress plummet to historical lows.

In spite of years of Democrats whining, “don’t challenge our patriotism,” Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi recently labeled Republicans as unpatriotic for their not bowing to Democrats demands on the financial bail out.

Listening to B HO in his speeches, whenever he brings up his “change,” can we not see that it is really little more than the same we have been brought since 2006? In fact, his “change” appears to be even further away from American ideals than even Pelosi’s crowd took us.

Obama has now grabbed ALL credit for the proposed Wall Street “bail out” agreement, granting credit to none but himself.

I must wonder, if, as many think, this “bail out” ends up causing more harm to middle America, will Obama, either as President or Senator, accept all blame for the failure and plunging us into a deep recession or depression? Somehow, I doubt he would do that.

Of late he has been saying that “several” are to blame for this fiasco, but when he lists those he blames, I don’t hear a single Democrat name mentioned, although their fingerprints are all over this mess.

Is this an example of the “change” or a return to the Clinton era “the buck never got here” attitude?

For some time now, expressions of free political speech have moved decidedly venomous, especially towards President Bush. He isn’t the first to receive this treatment, but the portrayals and rants against him have been the nastiest I have seen in my 60 years. Even a movie depicting the assassination of President Bush was defended and only drew tacit denunciation, at best. Effigies of President Bush have been hung, burned or otherwise desecrated with little or no outcry.

Yet, recently, an effigy of Barack Obama was found hanging from a tree and we hear of “sadness” and “outrage” over it. Police are investigating the act and have notified the Secret Service, even though they admit, “it's not clear yet whether the act was a crime.”

If it is “political free expression” to ‘burn our flag” or “denigrate President Bush,” why does a single act of hanging Obama in effigy merit a Police investigation? Shouldn’t it also be “free political expression?”

It would appear “ending free expression” may be one of those “changes” Obama says he will bring.

This is supported by the cabal of attorneys the Obama campaign has unleashed to threaten television stations that air ads against Obama that they deem “lies,” even though the very liberal New York Times reveals that B HO’s campaign is airing several ads of his own that even they see as “dubious.”

Can we ignore Obama’s call for supporters to “get in their face” of ones who aren’t supporting him and argue” them into submission? Is this an example of the tone of “civility and unity” he promises to bring to Washington D.C. and the nation?

There is something eerily familiar and unsettling in hearing of Camp Obama and the Obama Youth Movement. I seem to recall in history not too long ago of another charismatic leader that exploited the youth of his country and plunged the world into the bloodiest war in modern history.

Little attention has been paid to B HO’s long time connection to ACORN, a group claiming “non-partisan status,” yet promotes only Democrats and has been continually tied to voter fraud and remains receiving taxpayers money to help operate.

ACORN, contrary to what many believe, is not a helpful quiet community group, but grew out of more radical socialist anti-capitalist movements of the late 1960’s and early 1970’s.

Obama himself proved to be a quick study and effective user in the style advocated by noted Chicago leftist agitator, Saul Alinsky, who gave a very revealing interview with Playboy Magazine, shortly before his death in June 1972.

Is that really what we want to leave for our children and grandchildren?

Obama does promise “change,” but if we desire to remain a free people responsible for ourselves, it is “change that America do without!”

Once again we are being treated to sensationalized accounts of returning Veterans that may run afoul of the law. Just like during the Viet Nam era, the media spares no effort at informing us when a Veteran may have crossed the line.

As a Fox News fan I thought they would prove their motto of “Fair and Balanced” by rising above this or at least balancing reports with articles of good that returning Veterans also may do.

I guess I am wrong.

Clicking on the Fox News Home Page this morning, in their Latest News section, on the lower right, we see the headline, “Manhunt for Iraq Vet Who Killed Sheriff's Deputy,” concerning a report of Police seeking a suspect out of Lenoir, N.C. wanted for the killing of a Deputy Sheriff.

Within the brief article we read, “Officials searching for the suspect said they believed he had worked as a law officer in South Carolina and served in the U.S. Army in Iraq.”

The actual headline from the article makes no mention of his possibly being an Iraq Vet, as does the link on the Home Page.

As a Viet Nam Veteran myself, I recall the shoddy reports of us upon and ongoing after our return to the United States. In fact, months ago I partially touched on this in my blog post, Veterans, Warriors and Heroes, not Victims.

Please don’t misunderstand me, I do not feel that we Veterans are insulated from wrongdoing; we are not. Every segment of society has some who, for whatever reason, violate the law and commit criminal acts, up to and including murder.

But, as we saw in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, including a plethora of cinematic excursions in fantasies continuing the Myth of the Deranged Veteran, society was taught to largely distrust those who once stood between them and America’s enemies.

This small article on Fox News is newsworthy, but it is ‘Nationally’ newsworthy? By adding “Iraq Vet” to their link to the story, they have made a local crime National News.

Still news, but on the National Scale?

As before what is missing are every day stories of the multitude of good accomplished by the Brave Warriors, both in theater and after their return. Somehow, those stories never seem newsworthy enough to make National News, although they happen on a daily basis across the nation.

Reader’s Digest has treated us to several accounts over the years of Veterans who stepped forward at auto accidents or other events and saved lives in the “Every day Heroes” section of their magazines, including the compassionate rescue of a dog from Iraq.

Somehow, we don’t see national Headlines of “Veteran Saves Lives at Accident,” or “Veteran Rescues Dog.” We only see headlines, sometimes misleading headlines, when a returning Veteran is accused of criminal activity, which ultimately becomes linked to their tour of duty, directly or indirectly.

I have come to expect this sort of one-sided reporting from National News outlets like the New York Times and the alphabet networks, ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN. They lean towards “victimizing Veterans, portraying us as hapless victims struggling to return to society.

Frankly, I expected better from Fox News.

News reporting is a business; we know that. They must make a profit too to stay in business. Sensationalizing headlines does draw people to their site.

But, how about some of that “Balance” they brag about? How about some stories of the heroics by our Brave Troops? How about some recognition for the sacrifices made by the Troops and their families?

Above all, how about stories, true stories, from around the country of the every day heroics these returning Heroes perform that greatly enhance our society? Surely Reader’s Digest cannot be the only source of these valuable accounts?

It’s the least we can do for those who have willingly placed them selves between the most barbaric and bloodthirsty enemy we have ever faced and us.

Poll Reveals Democrats as Racists

Perhaps either unwittingly, or another effort at guilt tripping Democrats into supporting Barack Obama for President, an AP-Yahoo News Poll is labeling Democrats as the real racists in America.

An article, Lingering racism may hurt Obama, begins with the statement, “ One-third of polled white Democrats harbor negative views toward blacks.”

How can this be? I thought it was the Republicans all along who are racist.

The article mentions that one way they arrived at this staggering conclusion was that this one-third responded positively to at least one negative word aimed towards Blacks. A full list of these words is not made available to us, but to hype the poll, we are supplied a couple, “lazy,” and “violent.”

Undoubtedly, others are much softer, but we are not entitled to know what they are, the main goal apparently to goad people into supporting Obama, whether they feel he has the proper qualifications or not.

The article does make sure to tell us that “lots of Republicans harbor prejudices too,” without any statistical data to reinforce the claim, just that we won’t vote for any Democrat, regardless of race.

DUH!!!

Does it escape Stanford researchers that people who join a political party are more likely to vote within their party? Is that so unusual?

Deep within the article we read that Race isn’t even the “biggest factor” and that many Democrats either feel the Illinois Senator will not bring about promised changes or his competency to be President is mentioned.

But wait, isn’t the article titled ‘Lingering racism may hurt Obama?’

We are told it isn’t the biggest factor after all and that this alleged racism amongst White Democrats “could” reach as high as 6%. May, mind you.

From what I surmise, the leftist elites considered this election in the bag. A young charismatic partially Black candidate described by his vice-presidential choice as “ articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.” He was supposed to be a shoe-in. America was supposed to fall over herself for Obama and not even consider any other candidate, not even former darling of the left, Hillary Clinton.

But, it didn’t happen that way. America hasn’t embraced their chosen one as they expected. Many, regardless of political party, see right through a junior Senator who once elected, almost immediately began campaigning for the Presidency. Americans are not always as easily fooled as leftist think we are.

Add to this the addition of Sarah Palin to an poor GOP nomination of John McCain, who had difficulty garnering conservative support as well as many ardent Hillary Clinton supporters who watched as the Democrat party threw her aside for a junior Senator and one can easily see the reason for so little actual support for Obama isn’t racism, it is Americans don’t like being played for fools.

Early on Senator Obama began injecting the race card into his campaign and it continues. This poll is nothing more than another attempt to shame Americans, primarily White Democrats, into supporting and voting for a candidate they feel isn’t qualified, or face being labeled racist.

Sorry lefties. While prejudice and bigotry hasn’t been fully extinguished, probably never will be, the majority of White America looks beyond skin and looks deeper. Democrat, Republican, most no longer care about skin, we care about qualifications, experience, competency, ability and yes, even character.

Mostly, though, we realize that the Presidency of the United States of America is not an Affirmative Action job.

Impeach Sarah Palin

Once again, that ugly “I-word,” impeachment, is rearing its ugly little head from leftists. This time towards Alaska’s governor Sarah Palin. Since her surprise announcement as Vice Presidential candidate, have we not been inundated with reasons to throw her off the ticket? Have we not been told by such luminaries as Hollywood liberals and virtually every Obama follower, how inexperienced she is?

The looney left is already talking about it, here and here.

Of course, one call is for a “grassroots effort” at her impeachment as governor over the Tasergate non-scandal witch hunt.

It seems everywhere we turn today, we are hearing partisan Democrat hacks demanding a Republican be impeached for some reason, any reason.

It was shortly after the inauguration of President George W. Bush when the mean-spirited ridicule and attacks began, followed soon by calls for his impeachment, mostly as payback for the impeachment of B.J. Clinton, the Iraqi Theater of the War on Terror being the catalyst they used.

It would seem impeachment has become just another method of slinging mud at a Republican opponent, threats being good enough to taint an opponent, to some. Apparently, some don’t even know what impeachment is; wrongfully thinking it either removes one from office or forever stains their reputation and bio.

Believe me, impeaching B.J. Clinton left less stain on his reputation than he left on Monica’s dress. And, the real scandals were pushed aside and forgotten. But, we Republicans got him impeached in the House, while the Senate acquitted him and nothing changed, other than we were ridiculed for going after sex instead of hard scandals.

In the meantime, ol’ B.J. is a multi-millionaire and honored member of his leftist cadre.

In what can only be labeled as childish get back, something too many of our politicians have been infected with, the push to “get Bush” began as he took office, although not calls for impeachment, after the disputed recounts in Florida in 2000. Use of the “I-word” didn’t really build steam until he had the audacity to believe the intelligence left him by the Clinton administration and follow through on the Clinton policy of removing Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq.

That Saddam was believed to be in possession of Weapons of Mass Destruction and financing terrorist groups, after we suffered the worst terrorist attack in history, mattered little. As they did with Viet Nam, leftist Democrats, after agreeing to remove Saddam by force, lined up against President Bush, many demanding his impeachment, to no avail with the Republican majority.

Even after Democrats became the majority in both Houses of Congress, efforts fell flat, mostly because no real impeachable offense could be uncovered and Democrat leaders feared a public backlash in subsequent elections, even though we are told a majority of Americans want Bush impeached and jailed. As we all know, that hasn’t stopped the digging to find anything with fringe lunatic groups trying to build any case they can imagine to impeach. There are even calls for impeachment AFTER he leaves office.

The vitriol thrown at Alaska’s Governor, Sarah Palin, rivals that of the 8-years worth Democrat hate mongers have thrown at Bush since he narrowly defeated Al Gore in 2000. That the election and recounts were properly ended according to standing law and that Bush really did win legitimately means little to them, as we have seen for nearly 8 years now.

This gives me every reason to believe that once she and John McCain are inaugurated in January, she will continue to be their target of choice, to distract McCain from exercising his duties as President and to convince the public they made a mistake in electing them.

Sarah Palin and America deserve better than we have been seeing these last 8 years from power mad Democrats and will continue seeing once they are repelled from grabbing the White House.

How can we stop this nonsense from continuing? We can’t. All we can do is marginalize this sect of far leftists who took over the Democrat party long ago and made their deceitful voices heard throughout the country. We can continue electing conservative Republicans in every office and purge the GOP of RINO’s.

We can stop playing defense from attack after attack by the out of control leftist Democrats. Instead, we need to show America what the Democrats are really about today, Marxism and Socialism.

Sarah Palin is the shot America needs in the arm, she is a breath of fresh air who is uniquely qualified to lead the assault needed to turn Washington D.C. around. America is ready for a conservative woman to occupy an office in the White House and to lend the feminine qualities to government that many of our Moms instilled in us growing up.

Since Senator Obama has issued Marching Orders to his followers, encouraging them to “argue and get in our faces,” we should return the favor and get back in their faces, shout them down, marginalize their hateful calls, expose them as radicals.

We can no longer afford to play “nice” with hate-filled Democrats. The future of our country is too important. We cannot allow America to lose our freedom and liberties to powerful elitists that have decided they know how to live our lives better than us.

We cannot leave that for our grandchildren.

Above all, we cannot sit by again and allow them to do to Sarah Palin what we allowed them to do to George W. Bush, the only modern President to realize the danger we have been facing for decades and push back.

Campaign Ads, Chicago Street Thug Style

Fresh off of distancing himself yet again from someone close to him, the candidate for change and civility in political campaigns has released two new advertisements targeting his opponent, John McCain.

The first is in Spanish and directed at Hispanic voters, linking Senator McCain to radio host Rush Limbaugh and labeling him anti-immigrant.

One small problem, as revealed by ABC, this ad is “erróneo” (erroneous to those of you from Rio Linda)

Anybody who has ever listened to Rush’s program would know that Rush Limbaugh does not support John McCain and would be considered more of a nemesis, not a friend.

Reading the ABC piece above, we see that “erróneo” is actually being kind to our principled Chicago Street Thug. It was John McCain who was trying to press through legislation with his Senatorial buddy, Ted Kennedy, who was trying to fast track illegal immigrants to citizenship last year.

Hardly what one would expect from someone who is supposed to be “anti-immigrant.”

Ad number one, just another “mentira”

Next, the Obama Chicago cartel released an ad saying,

“Corning shuts down its plant in Pennsylvania, hundreds lose their jobs, then the workers are rehired to disassemble the plant and ship the equipment to China. Washington sold them out with the help of people like John McCain.”

Quite a damaging claim given our current economic crisis. Unfortunately for the syndicate of Obama, it too isn’t true.

Corning released a statement saying,

“those jobs were never sent to China. [T]he plant closed because it made cathode ray tubes, and since the company no longer makes CRTs, those jobs were not needed elsewhere.”

Corning spokeswoman Kelli Hopp-Michlosky went on to say,

“We have been in touch with the Obama campaign on this expressing our displeasure and presenting all the facts so they see how misleading the ad appears. We will continue to speak with them on this.”

Ad number two, just a “prevarication.”

Don’t expect the Obama cartel to withdraw or correct these lies, that isn’t the way of the left. Exaggerating, lying, is just another tool at attaining power for the left. The ends justify the means. To a Marxist, nothing is sacred but the cause.

No doubt Obamiacs welcome such distortion, seeing a rapid move to negativism as a good move to counter opposition. Truth be damned, just win!

Is this the change, the bringing Americans together, the civility and respect he promises to bring to Washington?

It sounds like more of the same old mudslinging, nonsensical, rhetoric we have seen for a long time now, although I’m sure the street thugs from the South Side of Chicago see it as everyday business.

Wake up, America. Barack Obama is not about change, only grabbing power at any cost. He is but a puppet, a front man for some unseen Marxist group or person.

It’s up to you, America. Do we continue down the road toward Marxism?

Or, do we begin taking our freedoms and liberties back?

Panic Sets In For Obama, Democrats

While premature to be calling the election, anything can happen between now and November, it is apparent the selection of Sarah Palin has so unnerved B HO that he has lost his message and failed to regain his stride.

"For a “change” candidate, Obama appears to be a man locked in time, unable to move past criticism, unable to move from the grip of the Democratic left, unable to adapt to the changed reality that the campaign is not the referendum on the war in Iraq or on the administration of George W. Bush that he’d envisioned."

"With Palin, the Washington outsider, the “third term” argument is plainly absurd. But Obama can’t let go, just as the lefties can’t let go of the Swiftboat Veterans for Truth defeat of Kerry. He can’t move on."

Maybe, when he was subjected to this undated interview with Beliefnet.com earlier this year, God didn't take kindly to his seeming to equate himself with the Almighty as he said,

"The prayer that I tell myself every night is a fairly simple one: I ask in the name of Jesus Christ that my sins are forgiven, that my family is protected and that I am an instrument of God's will. I'm constantly trying to align myself to what I think he calls on me to do. And sometimes you hear it strongly and sometimes that voice is more muted."

Seems to me, another well-known and less popular politician was castigated for claiming to pray and hear God's voice.

Will Obamessiah?

Conservative White Women Need Not Apply

Ever since the surprise announcement of Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin, as Senator McCain’s choice for his Vice Presidential running mate, we have noticed a meltdown from the left, particularly so-called feminists.

This could not be more evident than is shown in the Chicago Sun Times op-ed by Black female columnist Mary Mitchell’s Palin should be laughingstock to all feminists article published September 13, 2008.

How sexist for this so-called feminist to begin her hit piece with, “ Sarah Palin makes me sick. I hate that she was able to steal Barack Obama's mojo just by showing up wearing rimless glasses and a skirt.”

For decades now, a male making such a comment was castigated and scorned for the “insensitivity” displayed towards a woman commenting on wearing a skirt.

Undoubtedly, Mitchell will be lauded by the left in America for her brave insight and courage in making such an assertion.

In her “article,” Mitchell continues the denigration of Palin’s motherhood coupled with being governor as well as having a 17 year-old pregnant daughter. Is this what feminism has degraded to, mocking and ridiculing of an accomplished woman who has succeeded in the supposed “man’s world” and managed to have a family at the same time?

I recall that “Feminism is a discourse that involves various movements, theories, and philosophies which are concerned with the issue of gender difference, advocate equality for women, and campaign for women's rights and interests.”

When did these “various movements, theories, and philosophies” come to exclude women who freely chose to be conservative? When did they exclude a woman because she may not only be conservative, but white?

Mitchell tips her hand when she claims, “ Sarah Palin makes me sick because although black Democrats have been responsible for giving white candidates the boost they needed to beat their Republican opponents in tight races, these voters are now being insulted by feminists who say they will cross over into the McCain camp because of her.”

Can this outburst be interpreted other than feminists owe it to the Black Democrat to support him, even after he threw over a woman candidate in favor of a long-time Washington insider for his running mate?

Is feminism and the presidency now a matter of Affirmative Action and liberalism over the originally stated goal of “advocating equality for women, and campaigning for women's rights and interests?”

Forgotten, or maybe ignored, by many is that Sarah Palin isn’t the Republican Presidential Candidate, John McCain is. She is the Vice Presidential Candidate, but being compared to the Democrats Presidential Candidate, Barack Hussein Obama, more affectionately known as “B HO.”

By simply googling Sarah Palin one will discover endless articles denigrating this woman, her family and her record by the angry over the top left. Mitchell’s it piece is no different, even to the continuation of false rumors spread about her.

It would be too easy and polite to simply write this off as sloppy journalism. It is obviously a direct assault, another one, on the character of a woman who has lived by the creed of feminism as originally stated and succeeded by her own accords, possibly beyond her wildest imaginations.

Recently, another Black Celebrity confronted Senator McCain over strict interpretation of the United States Constitution. Showing a total lack of intelligence about our government and Constitution, and in an overly melodramatic way, Whoopi Goldberg asked if she should be worried about becoming a slave again due to McCain’s desire to appoint Justice’s to the Supreme Court who would interpret it as written by the Founding Fathers.

Perhaps she should be more concerned with how far back women in general, especially conservative white women, have been pushed by this totally unhinged prostitution of the feminist movement by the left.

Obama Hiding Behind Women's Skirts

Reeling from the shock announcement of Senator McCain's VP choice, Sarah Palin, Senator barack Obama has been forced to revise his attack plans.

While B HO may be content going after a gray haired old man, apparently he isn't up to the task of taking on an attractive woman.

We saw this shortly after McCain announced that he had chosen the little known Sarah Palin as the Obama campaign and the DNC rolled out Wisconsins Lt. Gov. Barbara Lawton to tell us, "If she becomes president of the United States of America, I think we would have someone who is pretty fragile at the helm."

U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin, D-Madison stated, "This choice calls into question both Senator McCain's judgment and a McCain administration's ability to lead a nation in crisis."

Leftist females lined up to denigrate Alaska's governor, Sarah Palin.

After Sarah Palin electrified America with her acceptance speech, Senator Obama has turned to former rival, Hillary Clinton "to Counter Palin."

The New York TImes article above say the Obama campaign is "dispatching Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton to Florida on Monday and bolstering his plan to deploy female surrogates to battleground states."

The call for skirts to hide behind are also for governors Janet Napolitano of Arizona and Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas.

What to think of a man that cannot do his own dirty work and must hide behind women's skirts to counter an opponent. If he cannot face Sarah palin, who is only the VP choice, how would he face up to America's enemies?

Real Change We Can Finally Believe In

Month after month, we have been treated to ads, broadcasts and reports from the national lamestream media of Junior Senator Barack Hussein Obama being an agent for much needed change. Just what that change is he proposes is never quite explained, but American’s have been being brainwashed for 19 months now that Obama is “Change We Can Believe In.”

Promises of a ‘New Day’ for America fell flat on its face, though, when B HO chose his Vice Presidential nominee and announced a long time Washington insider, fellow Senator and former presidential candidate, Joe Biden, without even giving fellow Senator and rival, Hillary Clinton, any consideration at all.

Many America’s who supported Senator Clinton felt betrayed, rightfully so. To them, promises of ‘change’ gave way to ‘business as usual’ from politicians whose relentless pie in the sky promises never quite materialize.

Fear not America, real change is here. A real agent for change has arrived on the scene in time to energize not only the faltering Republican conservative base, but has shown America than a veritable unknown can still climb to the top and deliver. Small town America once again sends the nation the real hope we can believe in.

We don’t get many chances to see American greatness in our leaders. When we do, rest assured other politicians vying for political gain attempt to destroy those who stand up for America and desire to protect her.

The Politics of Personal Destruction that has become so prevalent today has prevented many a good person from seeking public office, even though sorely needed. Many don’t want their families subjected to the sleaze that has become normal campaign techniques today. Those strong enough and brave enough are not only a special breed, they are few and far between.

America saw such a strong, small town American hopeful this past Friday morning as, on the morning after the Democrats Convention ended and all eyes were focused on B HO, Republican Candidate, Senator John McCain shocked the world as he brought out his long awaited Vice President candidate and instead of the expected Washington man, we were treated to the governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, a down to earth mother of 5.

Much has been said about her effort at a Beauty Pageant during her college years, but it didn’t take long for America to see this beauty was much more than only skin deep.

Blind sided by the announcement, diverting the spot light away from the Democrats expected bump in polls, within hours of the announcement the usual Democrat smear merchants began their attacks. All weekend long charge after charge was leveled against Mrs. Palin, a married woman with a family of 5, including a 5-month-old son born with Downs Syndrome, She remained silent as merciless attacks on her and her families characters continued. Nothing was too sleazy to spew out at her.

Charges of the baby wasn’t hers began at DailyKOS, a notorious left-winged smear merchant. Others followed as dirt of any kind was dug up on this lady and thrown out over the three-day weekend.

Her husband once had a DUI. He once ran a stoplight and was cited for it. Her teenage daughter partied and drank. Mrs. Palin once smoked marijuana, even though it was legal at the time.

We heard she would end Roe vs. Wade and force and end to slaughtering unborn children. Worst of all was when the 5-month-old son was said to be the 17 year-old daughters baby, not Mrs. Palins.

When it was revealed that the 17 year old was actually 5 months pregnant now, the cry changed to Mrs. Palin wasn’t a good mother keeping control over her children. We were told she has too much to do at home caring for a Downs Syndrome child and the rest of her family. This and more by none other than the “tolerant left” and many alleged women’s advocacy groups.

Denying that she represented what the feminist movement claims to stand for, an independent woman who can work, care for her family and apparently, build a loving marriage to her husband to share care of the family, women’s groups cried foul that she was chosen over yet another Washington insider male.

Gloria Steinem, considered an icon of feminism by many, penned an attack op-ed for the LA Times claiming, “American women… finally have support on a national stage from male leaders who know that women can't be equal outside the home until men are equal in it. Barack Obama and Joe Biden are campaigning on their belief that men should be, can be and want to be at home for their children.”

The 40 million viewers who tuned in to watch Sarah Palin’s acceptance speech Wednesday evening saw just that as it was Mrs. Palin’s husband, Todd, sitting with the very well behaved children, caring for them and for their infant son.

As the governor of Alaska, Mrs. Palin has had to delegate much of the family home responsibilities to her husband, who appears to have freely embraced them, not holding his wife back.

Yet we are told by the feminist movement that it is the Washington Insiders, the two men whose hands look as if they have rarely if ever washed a dish or changed a diaper, that believe men should share the burden with their wife? Todd and Sarah Palin don’t just believe it they practice it!

News of her inspiring speech being a ‘home-run’ brought fresh attacks as B HO began whining about being picked on. Yet, from across the Atlantic, our friends watched in awe seeing a younger Margaret Thatcher take the stage and deliver the speech that woke America up and showed America and the world just who really cares to elevate women and minorities and who seeks only political gain and will step all over women and minorities to gain it.

We are told that compared to B HO, Mrs. Palin has no experience, in spite of her 6 years as Mayor of the small town she grew up in and 2 years as Governor of Alaska, compared to B HO’s sitting through Senate sessions and his work as a community activist, whatever that is. If Sarah Palin is not qualified to be Vice President based upon her experience, how can B HO qualify to be President with so much less?

We are told that she should stay home and care for her family, while no one mentions B HO and his wife not staying home to care for their 2 small daughters.

Once again, we are shown that Liberal males ascending to power are much more important that any accomplishments of women, if they happen to be conservative.

Much of America has seen small town America in Sarah Palin and Senator McCain’s faltering campaign has received a shot in the arm as conservatives, like yours truly, had vowed he would only receive my vote reluctantly and without conviction.

With her record of reform, the true ‘change’ America needs, Sarah Palin has shown she has the strength, as she shot back at the Obama supporters who thought trashing the 17 year-old daughter would divide Republicans. They failed, American conservatives and honest hearted Democrats don’t like seeing children trashed and have begun to get behind the McCain/Palin ticket.

America, we have our strong leader in this ticket and quite possibly, the first woman president of the United States of America. We have the real agent of change who will copy her efforts in Alaska at purging politics of the corrupt and ineffective numbers in the parties.

We have asked for a strong figure we could believe in who will get the job done and she has been delivered.
