An Iraqi Vets Message to Barack Obama

"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty."

"A nation which has forgotten the quality of courage which in the past has been brought to public life is not as likely to insist upon or regard that quality in its chosen leaders today - and in fact we have forgotten."

John Fitzgerald Kennedy, 1917 - 1963, 35th President of the United States

If you truly care about our veterans and this great country of ours...

...Don't vote for John McCain.

McCain voted against our troops MANY times in the senate.

John McCain voted AGAINST 20 million dollars for veteran care facilities.

John McCain voted AGAINST $322 million for safety equipment for our troops in Iraq.

John McCain voted AGAINST $1 billion dollars in new equipment for the National Guard.

John McCain voted AGAINST $430 million for veterans outpatient care.

Barack voted FOR all of these troop support initiatives.

They deserve better than McCain.

We deserve better than McCain.

LOL, lonzie.

Let's see. I'm a Veteran. McCain is a Veteran.

Obama served when? Biden served when?

You don't think we can see through the smokescreen and pandering to convince us the Democrats Socialist agenda is what we need?

You sure don't know too much about Veterans.

Or, do you just think we are too stupid and that's why the majority of us vote conservative?

Your empty rhetoric may work with others, but it doesn't wash here, son.

Why not also say what all earmarks and pork were attached to those bills? Ya'll always ignore little things like that.

Pandering to Veterans doesn't work with the majority of us.

Read Vietnam Veterans Against McCain.

LOL, Lonzie, you're slowing down, son. I read them long ago. As a Viet Nam vet, don't you think I keep abreast of Viet Nam Veteran issues?

BTW, I have continually stated I don't care for McCain either, not for anything related to his POW time, but because of his embracing Democrats and undermining Bush over the last 7 years.

What McCain may have or not have done while injured in captivity in no way compares to the medal hunting short period and anti-war activities slandering Viet Nam Veterans in 2004 by John 'F'in Kerry (who served in Viet Nam, I hear).

Adding Sarah Palin to the ticket and seeing that Marxist Obama is leading the ticket for your side solidifies my vote for McCain, even if reluctantly.

If all you have is copy and paste from or DailyKOS, you got nuttin!

Sorry, I must side with the majority of our troops and veterans in their support for Obama rather than a grease monkey with a computer.

The "majority," Lonzie?

Any bets how many Military absentee ballots your boys will try to block again?

Sounds sort of funny for you to claim how the "majority" back a Democrat, but Democrats fight to block their votes.

Keep dreaming son.
