Foreign Press Takes One Last Swipe At Bush

As expected, some foreign press have taken their final opportunity to take one last swing at outgoing President Bush. Among their bashes are,

"A weak leader, Bush was just overwhelmed in the job," said Germany's Sueddeutsche Zeitung.

"Goodbye to the worst president ever. Bush was an unmitigated disaster, failing on the big issues from the invasion of Iraq to global warming, Hurricane Katrina and the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression," said Canada's Toronto Star.

"Bush leaves a country and an economy in tatters," wrote the Sunday London Times.

"He leaves the world facing its biggest crisis since the Depression, the Middle East in flames and U.S. standing at an all-time low," opined Britain's Daily Mail.

"America is now hated in many parts of the world. Bush leaves a legacy of wars and the world economy in meltdown. He has been dismissed as a buffoon and a war-monger, a man who made the world a more dangerous place while sending it to the brink of economic collapse," chimed in the The Scottish Daily Record.

"Bush brought great misery to the world with his 'friend-or-foe' mentality," wrote Die Zeit.

"It's hard to find a historian who won't say that Bush was the most catastrophic leader the U.S. has ever known. One success: since September 11, 2001, there was no attack on U.S. soil. But this sits alongside an interminable list of failures, starting with the war in Iraq," wrote the French Le Monde.

Fair enough, I guess. But, I have a message for all these America hating, Socialist rags and I'll let Commissar Obama give it for me.

Let's face it, most of the Bush bashing comments are valid.
Get over it Lew, OB won because the country could not stomach another 4 years of inept Republican administration. Bush made OB happen.

So give the new administration a chance. Surely things can't get worse.
Let's hope not.

Canuck, obama will receive no less that what was dished out by the neo-com left.

Little of what was said about Bush is true, but that is how the media abused their positions to further the neo-com agenda.

The media and rheir endless lies, distortions and misrepresentations is what brought homey in.

Both teh day after the election and today, the Stock market had its largest decreases for those days in history.

Doesn't bode well for "hope we can believe in."

It's going to be interesting watching him stumble along as whoever it is behimd him continues pulling the puppet strings.

CONVENIENT how they all forget who really holds the "wallet" of this nation: The Federal Reserve. (Contrary to popular belief, it is NOT the President, and contrary to Founding Fathers' intent, it is no longer the Congress.)

Obviously, this is in direct violation of the Constitution, but who the hell cares? It is time for a NEW Declaration, so why not a new Constitution, too? After all, we're not using the damn thing anyhow.

None of these morons gives 2 hoots for "states rights" because they have either do not know about them and have been indoctrinated to believe the federal government is the be-all end-all of the world or are just ready to hand them over for the same reason. *durrrr.... states' rights? whassa mean?*

Easily forgotten, HRC and friends standing there proclaiming WMD - AUTHORIZING WAR (yet another fact dismissed, that war may ONLY be declared by CONGRESS - NOT THE PRESIDENT - durrrr).

And in all thankfulness, I would GLADLY take that "one success" in exchange for ALL the other horse hockey dished around ANY DAY. Or maybe these DUMMYCRAPS (communists, to the core) truly and honestly WOULD (and in all exuberance)
TRADE
EVEN
ONE
SINGLE
AMERICAN
LIFE
for a bit of "economic security" (a false hope if ever there was one, since the Fed's been manipulating the money supply and DELIBERATELY CAUSING every single recession and depression, every single double-digit unemployment rate, and every single hungry American child since the ink was dry off Wilson's pen - including the Great Depression and most especially today's) or a little bit more MOMMY-CODDLING (that's what it seems to boil down to with Katrina - people live in a hurricane area, YOU KINDA HAVE TO EXPECT HURRICANES AND THEIR A.F.T.E.R.M.A.T.H.S. so deal with it or move away from the coast) and blah blah blah whine whine whine.

Today - TODAY - I am overjoyed that Barack Hussein Obama was elected the 44th President of the United States of America.
~~And I pray to God he gives these f***tards
EVERY
SINGLE
THING
THEY
ASKED
FOR.

Allee, it's going to "interesting" to see just how messed up these Neo-Com Socialist Demokrats will make the country.

Of course, expect the treasonous all too willing leftist press to contonue telling us how good it all is for us.

"...since the Fed's been manipulating the money supply and DELIBERATELY CAUSING every single recession and depression, every single double-digit unemployment rate, and every single hungry American child.." - Allee

Ah, Allee, a typical nutcase, the type that gives the Right Wing, Conservatives, etc a bad name.

Canuck, allee is hardly a nutcase. In financial maters especially, she is very knowledgeable and up to date.

The only reason conservatism has a bad name, artificial as it is, is that too many have fallen for the crap of turn the other cheek.

We played nice while the neo-soms wereslashing our jugular. McCain and company continues that failing philosophy.

For me, I see it is time to give back what has been given. After all, the tone has been set by the leftist neo-coms who now want us to continue being nice, while they continue slashing our jugular.

Not me.

Man, they just can't let it go ... We are expected to have a positive, supportive attitude towards our new President but their vitriol just keeps on goin' and goin' with regard to Bush.

"..allee is hardly a nutcase. In financial maters especially, she is very knowledgeable and up to date"--Lew

Lew, I really have to question your judgement. Considering the quote of hers I hi-lighted, what she said cannot, under any stretch of the imagination, be considered "In financial matters especially she is very knowledgeable and up to date"

Her statement is a quote of a nutcase. Same level of nuttiness as the 9/11 Truthers. You know, the nutcases who believe Bush and his cohorts planned the destruction of the Twin Towers.

Sorry, Canuck, but i stand by her on she is not a nutcase. She has made several comments here to convince me she has a valid opinion on this.

Our Fed does make deliberate changes that result all too often in adverse effects.

Lew,
is funny how the same people who demand we give Obama a chance and wants us to stop badmouthing him, have no problem insulting, demeaning and demonizing former Pres. Bush and even suggesting that he should be put in jail. It is the typical liberal rant mantra: "Do as I say, but not what I do". I call it as it is: Hypocrisy on a grand scale.

LewWaters said...

Augustin, there are no larger hypocrites than the left.

I am particularly offended that since B HO's successful coup, now the left claims we have "came together."

Their vitriol will never permit that.
