All Hail 'Saint Obama'

Found inside a Borders Bookstore in Dallas, Texas, in the Childrens Reading section.

What was that the left has been saying about "Bushbots?"

Well, I used to shop at Borders....

No more.

I can't say all Borders do that, Angie, but I think it is completely ridiculous that any do that.

The "worship" of this phony is getting out of hand and dangerous, as well.

Didn't many pay such worship to another, Adolf Hitler?

Well, hey, we're the ones that have been calling him the messiah. Can't they take a friggin joke? That is one sicko display I got to agree. I'll bet that REALLY pisses off the religious right. I don't think, if I lived around there, that I would be shopping there anymore.

Actually, we only called him 'messiah' after Calypso Louie labeled him such and the left began falling at his feet.

Not being a member of the religious right, I have no idea whether or not it pisses them off, nor is that of importance to me.

However, it is plain wrong to place any politician into such place under "religious reading," even Bush or Reagan.

Wrong is wrong and elevating Obama to the level or worship he is receiving is just plain wrong.

OBVIOUSLY, it was a set up. Borders puts multiple layers of books on the displays and a bunch of inventory on the shelf under so that if you BUY, which is the POINT of a retail store, you would not leave gaps in the display. This section had kid's Bibles and Bible story books and someone obviously moved that out and switched in the Obama books, probably snapped a quick cell phone picture, and took off so as not to get caught. Borders failed to notice the tampering and let a few gullible kooks snap additional pictures, apparently. Go back there now, and the Bible stuff, with accompanying inventory, is probably all back in place. And any statements issued by Borders will be sure to be vague because they do not want to admit they were victims. Very obviously not a genuine Borders display.

Hey, if you buy that, I have some ocean front property down in Oklahoma for sale.

I'd say it was more like a fawning employee or store manager and not an official Borders policy.

I recall how some stores hid or made certain conservative books difficult to find a few years ago, especially those by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. I even had to argue with the counter kid when I purchased my copy of Unfit For Command, who tried to tell me it was for "display only."

Anonymous wants to take back that whole "Messiah" thing. Hey, does somebody feel faint? Let's get her medic over here. Are you feeling 'faint?'
Obama will heal thee.

According to Borders Books spokesperson Ann Roman, as reported by World Net Daily, she said it wasn't a prank. "What happened here is those books were for kids and they were put under an overarching sign. Our team did not mean to imply an inappropriate classification" she claimed.

You can accept that explanation at your own risk.
