After all the press given to the brutal murder of Matthew Shepard and the now infamous rape case of the Duke University La Crosse team members, the noose incident known as the Jena Six and many other examples of ‘hate crimes’ in the country, why the trials of the criminals responsible for the deaths of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom is in near media blackout remains unexplained.
Chris Newsom, 23, was repeatedly raped and then blindfolded, gagged, arms and feet bound and his head covered. Barefoot, he was either led or dragged outside the house to a set of nearby railroad tracks. He was shot in the back of the head, the neck, and the back, and his body then set on fire. Channon Christian, 21 and his girlfriend, endured hours of sexual torture before she too died, suffering horrific injuries to her vagina, anus and mouth. She was not only raped, but also savaged with “an object,” possibly a broken chair leg. She was beaten in the head. Some type of chemical was poured down her throat, and her body, including her bleeding and battered genital area, likely scrubbed with the same solution - all while Christian was alive. She was then "hog-tied," with curtains and strips of bedding, her face covered tightly with a small trash bag and her body stashed inside five large trash bags before being placed inside a large trash can and covered with sheets. Christian died slowly, suffocating.
Lemaricus Davidson, Letalvis Cobbins, George Thomas, Eric Boyd, Vanessa Coleman were subsequently arrested and charged in the brutal murders.
The media that couldn’t wait to broadcast about Rodney King or sensationalize Matthew Shephard’s murder seems to have turned a blind eye to this 2007 murder as they have the trials currently ongoing.
So far, Letalvis Cobbins has received life without parole and earlier, Eric Boyd was found guilty in Federal court of being an accessory to a fatal carjacking and for failing to report the location of a known fugitive, sentenced to the maximum of 18 years in Federal prison.
That such an obvious hate crime would face a near complete media blackout when much lesser crimes are national headlines is left unexplained. Racial motivations by the media are denied.
Where is Geraldo Rivera, Greta Van Sustern, Contessa Brewer, Katie Couric and all the rest?

my fear is that with USA becoming a Latino-African majority state by 2050 , all that USA represented will be destroyed.from what i saw of black americans in new york was not positive
Agha, to me, a crime is acrime, regardless of who commits it. They should be prosecuted equally, no one receiving favor or extra condemnation based upon race or orientation.
I know several Blacks that think this crime is horrendous and who agree that the murderous deserve punishment to the fullest extent.
Personally, I blame Whites more who fawn all over Blacks & Hispanics and cower instead of seeing them as equals.

I've been following it off and on for some time, but with no coverage by the media that is all too quick to sensationalize crimes in the reverse, it has been difficult.
Very poor coverage by the mainstream media, that's for sure.
I would be inclined to believe that a crime of this magnitude being such a heinous and heartless crime the media was probably asked to not print this. Being a black man I can see how something of this nature could possibly inflame an already sensitive social structure. There are groups already asking for Obama's head on a pike(figuratively)asking for his impeachment and blaming him for everything from Zimmerman's acquittal to the reason the Boston marathon was bombed. So yeah you probably won't hear a thing about this in the media at large it would be all they( people in general) need to start doing some very nasty things to the wrong people trying to achieve vengence.
