Westboro Hate Group Announces Protest of 9 Year-Old's Funeral

The Westboro cretins from Topeka, Kansas, (I refuse to call them either Baptist or a church), led by life-long Democrat Fred Phelps, who has five times been a candidate for political office in Kansas Democratic Party primaries and is well-known for the hate rhetoric against Gays and the American Military by protesting at funerals, has announced they will protest the funeral of 9 year-old Christine Green, killed in the carnage Saturday, January 8, 2011 by Jared Loughner.

The hate group posted a message that says in part, [Christine] "was killed for your rebellion when God sent the shooter to deal with idolatrous America."

If anything has ever been able to bring the feuding political rhetoric in America to a temporary halt, it is this hate group showing up at funerals.

Speculation is, the outlaw biker gang, Hell's Angels, who has stood between the hate group and families in the past, might once again do so.

UPDATE: Governor Brewer left the following comment on her facebook page: "Tonight I signed SB1101 into law, which creates a 300-foot barrier between picketers and any location where a funeral or burial service is held. Such despicable acts of emotional terrorism will not be tolerated in the State of Arizona. This legislation will assure that the victims of Saturday’s tragic shooting in Tucson will be laid to rest in peace with the full dignity and respect that they deserve."
